Incorporated in 1893, Bradley Beach was purchased and created by two investors: William Bradner and the very same James Bradley who founded Asbury Park.
Bradley Beach was, and continues to be, a comfortable oceanside community boasting a many family owned businesses, restaurants and shops. Featuring a lovely beachfront with life guarded beaches, Bradley Beach is a winter home to approximately 8,000 people and during the summer the population booms to over 30,000.
The town recently renovated the popular beachfront mini golf course and Main Street’s Beach Cinema is a quaint year-round attraction that shows current blockbuster hits.
LEGEND: in 1679, Captain Kidd anchored his ship off the coast of Bradley Beach and buried his treasure between two trees on what is now Brinley Ave. To this day the treasure has never been discovered!
