Manasquan

Manasquan, with it’s beautiful beachfront, is the southern most point in Monmouth County.
It’s southern end lines the Manasquan River inlet with Point Pleasant Beach on the opposite side in
Ocean County.

Squan, as it’s commonly known, could be called a perfect hybrid of a beach/resort community and old
fashioned all-American town.

Year rounders who call it home have the opportunity to live in a pleasant, small town environment with
an elementary school any parent would be proud of and a high school that educates not only Manasquan
children but those from the five sending districts, including Brielle, Sea Girt, Spring Lake, Spring Lake
Heights and Belmar.

Manasquan’s Victorian section, west of Route 71, is a showcase of Victorian architecture on tree lined
streets.

What To Love About Manasquan

Manasquan’s downtown Main Street offers a variety of dining options from it’s small hometown diner, to
the contemporary, Committed Pig, to the upscale Max Devros.

Longtime favorite, Squan Tavern, offers some of the best traditional Italian food at the shore. The downtown also has art galleries, a children’s boutique, gourmet deli, bookstore, and women’s
clothing store.

Heading east on Main Street you will, in no time, find yourself at the beachfront and beautiful pristine
beaches where sunbathers and surfers enjoy all that its natural beauty has to offer.

A paved beachfront walkway goes from north to south ending at the inlet where friends and family gather
to enjoy a hot dog or ice cream cone as they sit and watch the fishing boats head out to the open sea.
