Superstorm Sandy was definitely a game changer for those that reside on the Jersey Shore. The landscape of the area changed forever that day and now, even almost 18 months later – the damage and pain that storm caused can still be felt in many areas.

Jersey Shore Real Estate OutlookDrive down Route 35 in areas like Mantoloking and you can see the remains of the destruction of the luxury homes that lined the street. Many residents are still dealing with issues regarding insurance, rebuilding and lawsuits. Beaches are still being restored, roads repaired and boardwalks fixed – and there is still more to do. There is still a lot of work to be done.

With all this uncertainty – one of the big questions that comes to mind is should we stay or sell? Is there a Jersey Shore Real Estate market for homes anymore?
