Joanne returns to the field of Real Estate after leaving 25 years ago to raise her four children.

As real estate agents at Foresight Realty in Brielle during the 1980s, Joanne, and her husband Carl were among the top closers the year before leaving the field in 1987 when the market took a sharp downturn.

Joanne has a B.A. in English Literature/Journalism from Montclair State University and for the past 15 years working as a reporter, editor and feature writer for several newspapers, including the Asbury Park Press, The Herald in Wall Township and her most recent as a staff writer for The Coaster in Asbury Park.

Her sales experience includes selling Airborne Express services for Utah based company, Unishippers, from their Colts Neck office.

Recently Joanne decided to take her professional life in a new direction and once again became a licensed realtor.

Joanne and Carl moved from Hudson County to Monmouth County in 1983, raising their four children, all of whom graduated from Manasquan High School, in Brielle.

While her children were attending Brielle Elementary School, Joanne was a member of the Board of Education for six years, serving as vice president for two.

Joanne and Carl enjoy all the Jersey Shore has to offer, frequenting the many restaurants, attending performances at Convention Hall, the Algonquin Arts Theater and freebies in area parks. Beach rides up and down the coast are a regular pastime as well.

Joanne has made the Jersey Shore her home and is familiar with every coastal town in Monmouth and Ocean counties, their beaches and attractions.

She enjoys reading, writing, biking, and roller skating. She is a member of the Storytellers Mosaic, a group which meets monthly at the Neptune Library and presents storytelling performances throughout the area. In Bradley Beach, Joanne is a member of a weekly prompt writing group at the library and lends a hand to the Bradley Beach Arts Council.
